Last year during the school break, me and my friends decided to get a job. We asked many stores if there was any vacancy and they always said we were too young to take the job and were all looking for 18 and above. Dont get me wrong, there were stores that accepted 16 year olds. But eveytime we applied, they said they would "call us back" which of course they didnt. So we went to this theme park called kidzania to ask if they were hiring. They were and we knew it because some of our friends were already working there. So they brought us in for a short interview. They were just asking us random questions and suddenly they asked me to sing. I WAS REALLY NERVOUS and I didnt know what to sing. So I sang "rude" because I know the lyrics really well. When I was singing, my fave was twitching alot and I felt it moving! Two of my other friends had to dance. In the end we got the job! At first I was really shy because I didnt know anyone exept a few of my friends. In kidzania, you have to be really outgoing and joyous all the time because its a themepark and of course the staff had to be fun! But after awhile i got comfortable with the other workers there and I started expressing myself more. I met many interesting people during my time working there. It was an amazing experience and I still keep in touch with the friends I made there!

Flood relief
Malaysia is battling some of the worst floods in decades along its east coast, which have killed at least five people. Based on what I have read in newspapers and watched on the news, I believe this is truly a devastating period for the flood victims and our nation. As members of the public, we should extend our help and lend a helping hand to the victims. Tesco Malaysia in a collaboration with Astro Kasih launched the 'Humanitarian Aid Mission Programme' to collect donations of food supply and other necessities to help flood victims in the East Coast. A simple way of helping is by supporting the programme mentioned above. Through this programme, the members of the public can purchase basic necessities such as blankets, clothes and food and drop them off at any tesco store and these donations will be flown to the affected areas. Even dropping off a box of bottled water go a long way in helping the flood victims. We should always look out for one another in times of need and never hesitate to help out.
